The Perfect Score pillar post is an 80 degree offset unit fabricated from 17-4 stainless steel hardened to RC45 and is designed to hold the cutting wheel employing a standard quick change M-1 insert manufactured by Perfect Score and other USA manufacturers. This holding system is technically superior to the spring clip system used by GED because it is manufactured to closer tolerance and retains the wheel in a very rigid mode during the scoring process.
The Perfect Score DuraCut wheel is fabricated from a higher abrasive resistant carbide than Fletcher currently will offer. This high resistant carbide translates to longer quality cutting interval until replacement is necessary. Your company will reduce the number of wheels you currently purchase yearly.
