The Perfect Score tungsten carbide glass cutting wheel was developed to meet the specific needs of Glass Fabricators and Insulated Window Manufacturers using high speed equipment to achieve glass scoring.   Perfect Score developed these products in cooperation with Perfect Technology a leading USA manufacturer of computer controlled glass cutting machinery.

The users of Perfect Score wheels will realize the following benefits:

Longer Wheel Life   - The wheel is manufactured from a micro grind composition having a higher % tungsten carbide content than competitive wheels. This superior quality wheel has up to twice the operating life of competitive wheels manufactured from conventional carbide. This extended operating life reduces your wheel cost by the 45%.

Greater Glass Yields - The wheel is diamond ground andlapped to very close tolerances. Machining to precise tolerances results in the following improved cutting performances:

1.  Reduction in Stress Crack occurrences.

2.  Reduction in Glass Flares.

System Compatibility:

The Perfect Score wheel and axle system is fully compatible with the following glass cutting manufacturers:

    PTC , Lockformer , *GED , Billco , MTI , Bystronics

Wheel Axles:

Perfect Score designed and manufactures our own tungsten carbide axles in close tolerance with our glass cutting wheels. Axles should be replaced every fifth wheel installed on your cutting system to achieve a high scoring yield. Some users replace their axles with each cutting wheel change.
